Erin M Liebich, Psy.D, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Owner & Clinical Director

Dr. Erin M Liebich is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the owner of Center for Personal Growth.  She provides therapeutic and assessment services to individuals of all ages.  In 2017, Dr. Liebich was elected to the APA Committee for Disability Issues in Psychology. and 2018, she served as the Chair for the committee.  Dr. Liebich specializes in physical and developmental disabilities, humanistic/integrative therapy, and collaborative psychological and neuropsychological assessment.  Her treatment approach focuses on mutual respect, cooperation, and empowerment with the belief that each person has an innate growth potential when provided acceptance, understanding, and the
right skills.  Dr. Liebich regularly collaborates with schools, residential facilities, attorneys, social workers, individuals, and families to assess for a variety of concerns.  Her areas of assessment expertise include intellectual and learning disabilities, developmental delays, dementia and other neurocognitive deficits, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders.  Dr. Liebich also enjoys offering a wide range of therapeutic services, including individual, group, family, and couples' therapy.  She has worked in a variety of settings including an inner city school, community health centers, and an organization for refugees.  She was an invited continuing education presenter at the last four National Conventions of the American Psychological Association.  Dr. Liebich can also personally relate to overcoming challenges in life as she was born with a physical disability, Cerebral Palsy.  She considers her disability as a welcomed aspect of diversity as it helps her to understand the difficulties that her clients face.

Jeanette Mazeikis, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (currently on Family Medical Leave)


Jeanette is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who earned her MA degree in clinical psychology in 2015 from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and her BA from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2009. Her previous clinical work includes diagnostic and therapy training in various outpatient mental health offices as well as social services at a skilled nursing facility prior to entering graduate school. Aside from therapy services, she works administering cognitive assessments to applicants as part of the state screening process for disability benefits. Jeanette currently provides outpatient therapy services to individuals with common psychological issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, intrusive thoughts, anger problems, codependency, and interpersonal problems. She also provides comprehensive psychological and
neuropsychological assessment to children and adults of all ages.

Krysta Halas, Licensed Professional Counselor


Krysta is a is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her MS in clinical mental health counseling at National Louis University, Lisle. Krysta has a BA in Psychology that she received from The University of Iowa in 2014. Krysta has previously worked as a residential counselor at Northern Illinois Academy, a psychiatric residential treatment facility, in Aurora. Here she provided psycho-educational group services for individuals ranging from ages 6-21 who have co-occurring mental illnesses to those experiencing behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges. These include but were not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. Krysta also works as a behavioral health associate at Linden Oaks Hospital, Naperville. Here she worked with clients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics primarily comprised of, but not limited to those experiencing eating disorders, binge eating, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD, and psychotic disorders. Krysta collaborates with her clients to provide a safe and therapeutic space to harness their potential and strengths and facilitate growth through healing by incorporating elements of cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies. Krysta looks for new ways to ignite her love for self care. She enjoys spending time outdoors, journaling, and making works of art. Working on her self care routine is an important part of Krysta's life, as she believes we all need to take time to love and cherish ourselves.

Julia Randall, Licensed Social Worker, Master's of Jurisprudence

J ulia Randall is a Licensed Social Worker and a graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a Master of Social Work Degree. Julia also holds a Master of Jurisprudence Degree (a type of law degree) from Loyola University. Julia has practiced in a variety of settings including a children's hospital, outpatient mental health, case management, and in a Partial Hospitalization setting. She has training and work history in treating individuals with eating disorders (binge eating, bulimia, and anorexia), mood disorders, trauma, and women with high risk pregnancies. Julia's philosophy is influenced by a variety of therapeutic models (cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and solution-focused therapy) and she uses an eclectic blend of therapy to meet her clients where they are in their recovery. Julia currently works in a partial hospitalization program for eating disorders in addition to her time at Center for Personal Growth. Julia is an advocate for eating disorder awareness, postpartum depression/anxiety, and mental health stigma.

Bethany Henrichs, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Beth has a Master of Information Technology Degree and worked as a Systems Analyst until undergoing double-organ transplant and heart bypass surgeries in 2010 following a long struggle with Type 1 Diabetes.  Given a new lease on life and the inspiration to help others overcome life's challenges
, Beth graduated from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago with a Master of Clinical Psychology Degree almost 5 years later.  She has practiced within a variety of settings including one of the western suburbs' largest outpatient hospital clinics where she provided individual therapy and group therapy to patients diagnosed with mental health disorders associated with chronic illness as well as co-occurring mental health disorders.  Types of group therapies Beth facilitated included anger management groups, coping with depression/anxiety groups, addiction recovery groups and music therapy groups.  While working w ithin emergency room and hospital settings, Beth not only utilized crisis intervention techniques but also mindfulness-based Interventions and humanistic therapies to treat patients with trauma-based disorders, neurocognitive disorders, self-injury, suicidal ideation, substance-use disorders, and disorders of anxiety and depression.  Beth has also worked within a private practice contracted by DCFS providing treatment programs to children, adolescents, and their families in foster care.  Within a forensic private practice and a clinical priv ate practice, Beth provided neuropsychological and psychological assessments to patients requiring court evaluations or follow-up medical care while helping them cope with mental health issues due to Autism, Dementia, Bipolar disorders, Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders, and Personality Disorders.

At Center for Personal Growth, Beth provides integrative therapy to individuals, couples, and families of all ages, and specializes in the provision of treatment to those dealing with the mental health effects associated with chronic illness and disability.  She also provides neuropsychological and psychological assessments.  Beth brings the same kindness and compassion to her clients that professionals have given her throughout the years, understanding that when individuals feel overwhelmed due to life circumstances, the need for connection, guidance, and support is profound.  Beth's approach to working with all individuals is listening to gain an in-depth understanding of clients' problem(s) for practical , goal oriented, and solution focused treatment in order to reduce their suffering and find calmness and joy again.  She offers a style that individuals can connect with, impacting lives by working alongside her client to help them overcome life's difficult challenges.

Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, biking, and traveling to new places.  Listening to music with her husband is her favorite way to relax.  She volunteers with Illinois Gift of Hope Organization to bring awareness to the importance of organ and tissue donation, participates in walkathons/bike-a-thons to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association and the American Cancer Society, and has served on the Board of Directors for the American Diabetes Association.

Erica Carter, D.Min, Licensed Professional Counselor

Dr. Erica Carter is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Doctor of Ministry degree in Advanced Studies in Psychotherapy and Counseling from Chicago Theological Seminary, a collaborative program with the Center for Religion & Psychotherapy of Chicago. Dr. Carter's research examined an integrative approach to mental health in religious contexts, incorporating psychology and religion/spirituality.

Dr. Carter has worked in community mental health, as well as a psychiatric residential  treatment facility, providing therapeutic services to children, teens, adults, and families. She has experience providing individual and group therapy to individuals with severe mental illnesses, behavioral, and emotional challenges. These include neurodevelopmental disorders, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar and related disorders, and disruptive, impulse control, and conduct disorders.

Dr. Carter seeks to foster a sense of hope and healing, by providing her clients with a safe space to navigate the therapeutic process and empowering them to discover their inner strengths. She believes that building a strong therapeutic alliance through support, empathy, compassion, and trust is the foundation to assisting individuals with overcoming their challenges.

Kelly Santoyo, M.A., Doctoral Intern

Kelly Santoyo, M.A. is a Doctoral Intern who is working towards a degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in children and adolescents. She received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2016 from Adler University in Chicago, IL. Kelly has worked in various settings inclu
ding community mental health, private practices, a psychiatric inpatient facility, a therapeutic day school, and a crisis hotline. Kelly has experience working with individuals dealing with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, ADHD, grief and bereavement, self-harm, behavioral issues as well as other disorders. She has provided therapy to individuals, couples, groups, and also has experience providing therapy in Spanish. Kelly sees the importance in using the therapeutic relationship and collaborating with her clients in order to facilitate growth through using various modalities, such as cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and psychodynamic therapies, based on her client's needs.

During her free time, Kelly loves playing soccer, going to the gym, and doing various other physical activities. She is also a huge lover of both animals and nature, and likes to spend some of her time playing video games when she can.

Shaun Morganfield, Doctoral Extern

Shaun is a doctoral student at Adler University studying clinical psychology. Throughout his time at Adler, Shaun has completed a
diagnostic externship providing neuropsychological assessment services to clients in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. He has experience working with adults, older adults (55+), veterans with mental disorders, and individuals without stable housing.

Shaun has also completed the Albert Schweitzer fellowship, providing mental health and awareness services to African American and Latinx youth. He has presented research on black masculinity at the 2018 APA national convention. Shaun is recognized as an ally to individuals in underserved communities of color and people who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Prior to attending Adler University, Shaun obtained his bachelor's degrees in gerontology and psychology from Missouri State University. He was employed as a psychiatric technician for adults at a private sector hospital, and has also worked for the State of Indiana and United States Department of Veteran Affairs in the fields of social work and nursing.

During his free time, Shaun enjoys listening to music, as well as playing trombone and a variety of video games. He also enjoys watching professional football and basketball games as an avid fan of the LA Rams and Golden State Warriors.
